Bah Oui (pronounced BAH WEE) is a phrase commonly used in the French language meaning, “well yes, obviously, of course or duh.” It is often used to express agreement or to emphasize something that is evident and apparent. Hence the name Bah Oui Patisserie, making us your OBVIOUS choice for French desserts and seasonal baked goods.

Bah Oui Patisserie is a couple owned, French inspired bakery that highlights seasonal ingredients in delicious sweet and savory baked goods. Handcrafted with love and showcasing the finest French baking techniques, our desserts and savory items are inspired by our French and Caribbean cultures. With a unique blend of two traditions, our pastries and savory bakes are crafted with expertise, creativity and vibrant seasonal flavors.

Chef and Co-Owner: He was born and raised in France and has over 25 years of culinary experience. He began his career focusing on savory foods before he discovered his perpetual love for pastry. He eventually got a degree in pastry and furthered his education by obtaining a separate title as a Chocolatier. He worked for an elite pastry boutique in Paris for several years before eventually being recruited to the US to work as the Head Chef for a privately owned confectionery business just outside of New York City.

Manager and Co-Owner: She was born in the US and comes from a Caribbean household where her love for home cooked meals consisting of vibrant, bold flavors first developed. For the last 25 years she has been working exclusively in fine dining and hospitality. She moved to New York City almost two decades ago, establishing her career in private events tailored to New York City’s elite, high-end clientele.
